Accounting Specialist

DVA Federal Credit Union is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to fill the position of Accounting Specialist.  This position will be responsible for the accounts payable function, corporate credit union account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation. Miscellaneous duties include daily settlement/balancing of a variety of routine summary reports to include ATM, Visa, and official checks. Collections Assistant
DVA FCU is currently seeking a Collections Assistant for our DC office. Responsible for performing clerical duties associated with various collection accounts, creating monthly board reports, and assisting the branches with collection questions. Act as a liaison between DVA FCU and our external collection agency. Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills, Excel proficient, credit union experience preferred but not required. Member Service Representative
DVA FCU, Washington DC branch, is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative. General duties include: Building and retaining member relationships by providing exceptional customer service. Open and close accounts as requested, work up and disburse loans, process IRA transactions, update member’s account records, cross-selling DVA FCU products and services and researching and resolving member request. Requirements include: Good oral and written communication skills, detail oriented and basic computer skills. Prior MSR experience preferred. St. Albans, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Part time Teller One Position (Hours: M TH 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. & Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm): Responsibilities include providing assistance to members with their financial transactions and promote credit union products and services while maintaining the credit unions dedication to exceptional member service.  The right individual will assist in meeting credit union-wide goals and objectives through established product knowledge and solid sales referrals.  Prior cash handling experience a must preferably in a financial organization.  Applicant must have strong written and oral communication, organizational, and personal computer skills including MS Word and Excel.  Minimum of one years related work experience in financial institution or related environment required.
