Accounting Specialist: Washington, DC
DVA Federal Credit Union in Washington DC, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist.The successful candidate must have prior accounting experience, a high school diploma and experience in banking and/or credit union environment. Excellent mathematical skills, detailed oriented with ability to multitask, good computer skills, and excellent organizational skills.The Accounting Specialist is responsible for completing daily, monthly accounting functions in a timely manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily settlement of Share draft, ACH, VISA and Travelers checks; ATM balancing; Accounts payable; reconciling general ledger accounts on a regular basis such as cash accounts. Branch Manager: Philadelphia, PA
DVA Federal Credit Union is seeking an energetic, out-going, motivated, goal oriented and experienced Branch Manager to run our Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate would be responsible for developing and maintaining a high member service level among the staff; develop and maintain deposit and lending relationships. The chosen candidate must possess a minimum of five years of management experience; prior lending experience including lending authority; branch operational experience in a credit union or other financial institution; excellent communication skills both oral and written.
